  • How much is a general eye exam?
    Our comprehensive eye exams are $65. This does not include dilation. The price of the exam may vary based on a patients insurance.
  • How much is a contact exam?
    Our contact exams are $99. This includes a glasses prescription, a contact prescription, a contact fitting and 1 pair of trial contact lenses. This does not include the supply of contact lenses.
  • How much is a dilated eye exam?
    Our dilated eye exam is $89.00.
  • How long is an eyeglass prescription valid for?
    Eyeglasses prescriptions are valid for 2 years.
  • How long is a contact lens prescription valid for?
    Contact lens prescriptions are valid for 1 year.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    Yes, we accept most vision and medical insurances. However, due to the complex nature of some insurance plans, we recommend you call your local Dr. Presley and Associates location before visiting, to ensure benefit eligibility. Some major insurances we accept are: - VSP - Superior Vision - Spectera - EyeMed - Medicare - Medicaid - Community Care - Blue Cross Blue Shield - United Health Care - Humana
  • What is an Optometrist?
    Optometrists are medical professionals, who provide primary care for the health of your eyes.
  • What types of insurance do you accept?
  • Do you take walk-ins? What are your walk-in hours?
    Absolutely! We do however encourage patients to call ahead, as walk-in availability will vary depending on each day's scheduled appointments.
  • Is it better to walk-in, or to schedule an appointment?
    While we will make every effort to accommodate walk-in patients, priority will be given to previously scheduled appointments. To schedule an appointment, please contact your nearest Dr. Presley & Associates location.
  • Can I use my eyeglasses prescription to get contacts?
    No. Eyeglasses sit a short distance away from your eyes, whereas contact lenses sit directly on the eye, and are specially fitted to each patient's eyes. An improper contact lens fitting or prescription, can cause harm to a patient's eyes. For more information, please contact your nearest Dr. Presley & Associates location.
  • Can I buy eyeglasses after I get my prescription with you?
    Dr. Presley & Associates does not sell eyeglasses. However, both of our offices are conveniently located next door to Eyemart Express, an independent optical retailer. Your eyeglasses prescription can also be used at the optical retailer nearest you.
  • Does your office offer medical testing?
    Yes. Our offices are equipped to see patients for a variety of issues including glaucoma work ups, diabetic exams, dry eye disease, etc.
